Best Games For Android 2018
Google’s Android operating system is the most used mobile operating system in the world with over 2 billion active users. This means it’s one of the most popular gaming platforms, so in this blog, I’m going to cover some of the best games on this platform.
The name might put people off but this is a really fun game. As a game for dropping in and out of, this is great and it’s stupidly addictive too. The best way I’ve heard it described is as “Graft Theft Auto with the Kardashians.”
This card-based game is somewhat like solitaire but is based on mixing potions in a fictional apothecary. It’s simple but it’s quirky enough to not be a clone of other games and once you get into it it’s hard to put down again.
Pokemon go made headlines for people dying and getting injured whilst playing it. The number of regular users may have halved from its peak, but it is still one of the best games on the Android platform. The AR-based capture game is great for Pokemon fans and novices alike. My Dad (who is retired) even took it up. I was wondering what he was doing walking around the garden but he was chasing a Pikachu. If it can keep a man like my Dad – who has played games for a sum total of a day before he got this in his entire life – hooked and playing it every day it shows its level of addictiveness.
This game was first launched on iOS before it came to Android, but I’m glad it did. This is a multiplayer only game requiring two to four players (on the same Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). You take control of a spaceship with each player taking up a different role on the spaceship. You get your own unique controls. Everyone has to contribute simultaneously or your ship will be destroyed. If you carry out your tasks you go to the next stage, if not your craft is engulfed in flames and you die. There is no single player option, but as multiplayer games that are pure fun go, you can’t beat this.
